Japan Pilgrimage II Day 14 - Guest Blogged by 浪迹天涯小狗

Too busy shopping, no images warning!

Ah! Megami-sama life-sized statues over at Kotobukiya.

And once again, I've been neglected!! No pics!

The initial plan was to hit Ghibli Museum today but tix were sold out, so today is more or less a free day..

Free day in Tokyo?

Akihabara we go AGAIN!

Another melon pan picked up from some cafe near the Akihabara station.

This is the main reason for revisiting Akihabara..
Tokyo Animation Center!

So it was hidden within UDX. We thot it was a building on its own!
Little wonder we wasn't able to find it the first time around.

Turns out to be a tad of disappointment as the area was rather small, and nothing of interest to Mistress.

Gundam Cafe. Should try it another time.
Wonders y the queue!?

Mistress seriously wishes to bring one of these back..

Had lunch at the first kaiten sushi bar we saw to satisfy our kaiten sushi craving.

Kotobukiya Akihabara has claimed its place as the must-visit location in Akihabara in Mistress's mind.

Floors and floors of anime/manga goodies that will absolutely delight any otakus!

Went over to Shinjuku for the observatory at Tokyo Metropolitian Government Building

Had to walk a very very long (about 800m) underpass to reach the building.

Here's the lift that will take us all the way.

Was lucky to be there when the sun is setting.
Absolutely lovely view!

Some strange installation that moves with the wind.

Very complicated directions filled with loads of locations.

Retired back to Ikebukuro with bags of loot in our hands.
Popped into one ramen restaurant somewhere in Ikebukuro.

Ramen on cold night is good~
